A grey sofa might just be the best choice for your next family room or living room sofa. When looking for a couch to situate in these places, sometimes people feel disoriented and confused because they do not know what color to choose. When this happens, the best solution is to choose a neutral colour that goes with anything. When in doubt I use Grey; in all its tones. DARK GREY SOFA

The Perfect Combination: dark gray sofa, framed by a light gray wall with light fixtures, light blues, whites or light pinks. It's a combination that works well for small spaces. Adding different textures, like afghans, accent pillows or an accent throw, can make it even more interesting. GREY SOFA, LIGHT BACKGROUND

Another beautiful combination that offers subtle yet noticeable contrast is a medium gray sofa on a light gray background, surrounded by vibrant accessories. Colours like violet, light blue, pastel pink, white and black, as well as wood materials, give warmth to cold greys. Another option is to combine the brightness of a white wall with dark coloured accessories; and pair them with an area rug or cushions that have geometric patterns and bright fabrics, in shades of grey. If you’re not satisfied yet, you can always create contrast with a gray sofa adjacent to a dark gray background. It's not recommended for small rooms because it can make them feel even smaller, darker and cramped. If you do choose this rout, add elements using light or vivid colors like pink, mustard, or blues, to enhance the tonality of the room.

WARM GREY SOFA

This shade is highly recommended when you want to achieve a warmer atmosphere but with a neutral grey. Dark wood colored accessories, and textiles in tones of brown and yellow are perfect. BLUE-GREY SOFA

This shade of gray is gorgeous when combined with a white wall and textiles of different colors including gray, and mauve, giving you the perfect amount of unity and contrast. I recommend using warm woods accented by brilliant finishes. In either case, a grey sectional or sofa is always a wise option.
