Almost everywhere we go during the day we are in someone else's vision. Our homes are the only places that we can make exactly the way we want. Of all the places in our home the bedroom can truly be a sanctuary and an oasis. It's the first place we see every day and the last environment we experience every night. It's where we unwind, relax and fade into slumber and where we have our most intimate moments and conversations. This is why it’s important to own it and make it yours. The colour of our walls, the texture of our linens, the amount of light that our window coverings block out or let in all affect the rest of our day. Despite the obvious yet often overlooked impact and importance of our rooms, we often neglect this space because it's a place that guests don't typically see. The most important decision in a bedroom is your mattress. No other singular item in your life has a greater impact on your rest and rejuvenation. You can't have a truly good day without a good night. The right bedroom choices in form, function and flow will transform every moment of the rest of your day, while a good quality mattress can enhance your overall health. So in turn, if you want to improve your quality of life there's no better place to start than your bedroom.
